Exuma Cays Liveaboard Expedition

Luxury & Adventure

AQO5

Join Sea Dog Divers and experience exceptional diving like no other place in the Atlantic Ocean or Caribbean. Even our many non-diving friends will be thrilled with the many land based eco-adventures & excursions available with the additional 28 foot jet boat!

The Diving

The variety of dive sites (over 100) in the Exuma Cays is truly unique. Weather permitting, we hope to explore Eleuthera too! Because it can only be reached on a dive liveaboard, this underwater world is pristine and filled with an abundance of colorful fish, macro-critters, corals, sponges, fans, lobster and  sharks. In addition to swimming with the sharks, enjoy:

  • Passive shark feeding dives
  • Walls that begin as shallow as 40 feet
  • High speed drift dives through the cuts of the cays
  • Blue holes banked by patch reefs with huge schools of fish
AQ08

What makes the Bahamas and especially the Exuma Cays so popular is the variety of dives – wrecks, reefs, blue holes, walls and a high-speed drift dive. All diving is done right from the Aqua Cat.

During our week aboard the Aqua Cat liveaboard they will offer up to 26 diving opportunities. This includes daytime and night dives, unless of course you partake in Happy Hour before the night dive!

The goal is for you to fill up your log book with incredible memories about the places you’ve been, the things you’ve seen and the people you met along the way.

Eco Adventures

AQ12

If you thought our scuba diving trips meant you’d be stranded on a boat for a week, think again. Divers and Non-divers can enjoy the land excursions and eco-adventures as well as relax, read, and sunbathe. Do as much or as little as you like! . The 28 foot jet boat, the Sea Dog, transports guests from Aqua Cat to shore for excursions and eco adventuress, such as:

  • Visiting Exuma Land & Sea Park
  • Beachcombing on uninhabited cays
  • Learning about uninhabited Bahamian islands during guided walking tours – history, nature, legend and lore
  • Encountering local wildlife – sea and shorebirds, iguanas and yes, even pigs
  • Relaxing on a secluded beach

The word aqua is in the vessel’s name for a reason. Just ask the staff for assistance if you’re new to any recreational activity.
